World Cleanup Day is an international social initiative dedicated to addressing the world's land-free waste and marine debris issues by affecting changes in human behavior patterns. In 1987, the Australian, Mr. Ian Quinan, saw the garbage floating in the sea while driving a single sailboat around the earth, and felt that he had to do something. After returning to Sydney, he launched “Clean Sydney Harbour Day” with the help of friends. Later, Ian put his eyes on the world. After receiving support from the United Nations Environment Program, the Clean Up the World Weekend (CUW Weekend) event was held for the first time in 1993. World Cleanup Day, scheduled for the third weekend in September, is now one of the most important environmental protection activities in the world, with more than 40 million people from over 125 countries participating in the event every year.
As a Laser Cutting Machine Factory, we hope to work with friends from all over the world to start small things and clean up garbage and waste. Contribute to the beauty of our common earth home!
